Position Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, providing financial leadership, strategic insight, and operational discipline to support the organization’s long-term growth and profitability. The CFO is responsible for all financial functions including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, risk management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic foresight, operational excellence, and a hands-on approach to driving performance.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with overall business objectives

  • Advise the CEO and Board of Directors on financial planning, budgeting, and capital allocation

  • Drive long-term financial forecasting, scenario planning, and M&A evaluations

  • Identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and financial improvement

Financial Operations & Reporting

  • Oversee all aspects of accounting, reporting, and compliance

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP (or IFRS)

  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial performance reviews

  • Monitor and report on KPIs, financial trends, and variances

Capital Management & Treasury

  • Manage the organization’s cash flow, investments, and capital structure

  • Oversee relationships with banks, auditors, and investors

  • Optimize capital allocation and working capital strategies

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Maintain a strong internal controls environment and risk management framework

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulations

  • Lead audits and tax planning efforts with internal and external stakeholders

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

  • Drive operational excellence and scalable processes across the finance function

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial goals with department strategies


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA strongly preferred)

  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 in a CFO or senior finance executive role

  • Proven track record in strategic planning, budgeting, and business analysis

  • Experience managing investor relations, audits, and legal/compliance frameworks

  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, financial modeling, and reporting tools

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
