Chief Financial Officer
Position Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, providing financial leadership, strategic insight, and operational discipline to support the organization’s long-term growth and profitability. The CFO is responsible for all financial functions including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, risk management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic foresight, operational excellence, and a hands-on approach to driving performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with overall business objectives
Advise the CEO and Board of Directors on financial planning, budgeting, and capital allocation
Drive long-term financial forecasting, scenario planning, and M&A evaluations
Identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and financial improvement
Financial Operations & Reporting
Oversee all aspects of accounting, reporting, and compliance
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP (or IFRS)
Lead the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial performance reviews
Monitor and report on KPIs, financial trends, and variances
Capital Management & Treasury
Manage the organization’s cash flow, investments, and capital structure
Oversee relationships with banks, auditors, and investors
Optimize capital allocation and working capital strategies
Risk Management & Compliance
Maintain a strong internal controls environment and risk management framework
Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulations
Lead audits and tax planning efforts with internal and external stakeholders
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Drive operational excellence and scalable processes across the finance function
Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial goals with department strategies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA strongly preferred)
10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 in a CFO or senior finance executive role
Proven track record in strategic planning, budgeting, and business analysis
Experience managing investor relations, audits, and legal/compliance frameworks
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, financial modeling, and reporting tools
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
