Role Summary
We’re seeking a friendly, energetic Customer Service Representative to deliver outstanding service and support to guests both in person and over the phone. You’ll be the face of KDC GLOWBALL, assisting with check-ins, answering questions, resolving guest concerns, and ensuring every visitor has a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Engagement & Front-Line Service
Greet and assist guests as they arrive for open play, leagues, events, and parties.
Provide clear, accurate information about pricing, schedules, programs, promotions, and facility rules.
Answer phone calls, emails, and online inquiries in a timely, professional, and friendly manner.
Reservations & Check-In Support
Process reservations, walk-in admissions, rentals, and payment transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Check guests in for sessions, events, and league play, ensuring accurate records and smooth flow.
Manage waitlists, substitutions, and guest requests with efficiency and courtesy.
Problem Solving & Issue Resolution
Listen to guest concerns, resolve issues, or escalate to management when needed.
Maintain composure and professionalism during high-volume periods or challenging situations.
Facility & Safety Support
Communicate facility policies, safety guidelines, and expectations to guests.
Help monitor lobby, court, and common areas to ensure safe guest behavior and cleanliness.
Coordinate with housekeeping and operations to support facility readiness.
Team Collaboration
Partner with sales, operations, housekeeping, and management to support overall guest experience goals.
Attend team meetings, share guest feedback, and contribute ideas for improving service.
Qualifications
Required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, guest-focused attitude.
Comfortable handling in-person and phone interactions with diverse customers.
Basic computer and POS experience (training provided as needed).
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and event times.
Preferred
Previous customer service experience in recreation, entertainment, hospitality, or retail.
Familiarity with booking/reservation systems, CRM, or ticketing software.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
Working Environment
Fast-paced, high-energy environment with frequent guest interactions.
Requires standing, walking, and interacting on the front lines with visitors.
Schedule will include evenings, weekends, and peak event sessions.
