Overview
The Director of Talent Acquisition is a visionary leader responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s global talent strategy. This role drives innovation in sourcing, selection, and workforce planning while ensuring alignment with the company’s mission, values, and growth objectives. The ideal candidate combines strategic foresight with hands-on expertise in people analytics, employer branding, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Design, implement, and oversee a scalable, data-driven talent acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives.
Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators to achieve ambitious hiring goals across multiple regions.
Partner with executives and HR leadership to forecast workforce needs and develop long-term hiring strategies.
Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) in all recruitment practices.
Innovation & Technology
Leverage AI-driven recruiting tools, predictive analytics, and automation to optimize sourcing and candidate experience.
Build dashboards and metrics to evaluate pipeline health, time-to-hire, and recruitment ROI.
Collaborate with HRIS and IT teams to enhance ATS/CRM systems and integrate AI capabilities for smarter decision-making.
Operational Excellence
Establish standardized processes, interview frameworks, and employer branding strategies that attract top-tier talent.
Implement performance metrics for the recruiting team to drive efficiency, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with all employment laws and organizational policies.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on talent market trends, compensation insights, and workforce planning.
Build strong relationships with hiring managers, ensuring alignment and accountability in the recruitment process.
Represent the company at career fairs, conferences, and industry events to enhance employer reputation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with 5+ years leading multi-location or global teams.
Proven success building and scaling recruiting functions within high-growth or complex organizations.
Strong command of AI recruiting platforms, HR analytics, and digital transformation within HR.
Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Certifications (SHRM-CP, PHR, CAIS–CIAT, or equivalent) are a plus.
