KDC Gym – Train Like a Pro | Gym Manager

Position Summary
The KDC Gym Manager – Train Like a Pro is responsible for overseeing all aspects of gym operations, including staff leadership, financial performance, facility management, and member experience. This role serves as the senior on-site leader, ensuring operational excellence, safety, profitability, and a high-quality experience for all members and guests.

Staff & Operations Management

  • Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate gym staff.
  • Set performance standards and provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action as needed.
  • Oversee daily gym operations including classes, programs, sales, and memberships.
  • Ensure all staff comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Financial & Business Management

  • Develop and manage the gym’s operating budget.
  • Oversee payroll, staffing costs, maintenance expenses, and operational spending.
  • Drive revenue growth through memberships, programs, events, and partnerships.
  • Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.

Facility & Member Management

  • Ensure the gym facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper working condition and safety.
  • Address member questions, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Create and maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and motivating gym environment.

Marketing & Community Engagement

  • Oversee and support marketing initiatives to attract new members.
  • Promote gym programs, services, and special events.
  • Build relationships with the local community, schools, and partners.
  • Represent the KDC Gym and Train Like a Pro brand professionally.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing a gym, fitness facility, or similar operation.
  • Strong leadership, staff management, and team development skills.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial oversight, and revenue generation.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (required or ability to obtain).
  • Background working in youth, athletics, or sports environments preferred.

Employment Classification

This position is typically classified as a salaried, exempt role under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), subject to meeting applicable salary and duties requirements. Employment is at-will and subject to KDC Global Management LLC policies. Background checks and verification of credentials may be required.
