Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and grow our facility’s operations, team, and guest experience. As the driving force behind day-to-day leadership, you’ll ensure operational excellence in all areas — from customer service to sales, staff development, safety, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team including supervisors, sales, customer service, operations, and support staff.
Develop staffing plans, training programs, and performance evaluations.
Promote a positive, supportive, and guest-first culture.
Operational Oversight
Oversee all facility operations to ensure smooth execution of glowball sessions, leagues, events, and daily activities.
Maintain facility appearance, safety standards, and readiness at all times.
Financial & Business Performance
Manage budgets, labor costs, revenue forecasting, and profit and loss.
Analyze metrics including sales, attendance, retention, and customer satisfaction to drive improvements.
Partner with marketing to optimize promotions and programs.
Customer Experience & Community Engagement
Champion exceptional guest service and consistently exceed guest expectations.
Respond to guest feedback and lead resolution efforts.
Represent KDC GLOWBALL in community partnerships and local outreach.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, risk management practices, and facility regulations.
Lead incident reviews and continuous improvements.
Qualifications
Required:
Proven leadership experience managing operations in entertainment, recreation, sports facilities, or similar customer-focused environments.
Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, sales growth, and metrics analysis.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
Commitment to delivering top-tier guest experiences and team support.
Preferred:
Prior experience with league or event operations.
Background in basketball, athletic programs, or family entertainment.
Familiarity with POS systems, CRM platforms, and scheduling tools.
